New firmware update for Alphatron EVF now available for download! – Firmware V0.66 Anamorphic De-squeeze

Alphatron have released a new firmware update for the Alphatron EVF: V0.66 Anamorphic De-squeeze.


Now the EVF can perfectly be used with anamorphic lenses. The new setting de-squeezes the anamorphic image, which makes the image appear “normal” in the EVF. The anamorphic setting allows the operator to select three de-squeeze modes: 1.3x, 1.5x and 2x.

Pixel-by-pixel directly under a function key

Another added feature is to have the option “pixel-by-pixel” directly under a function key. It is no longer needed to scroll through all options. Now it is just one click!
